Overview of Pokemon Sun Moon
In Pokemon Sun Moon GBA game, the player takes on the role of a Pokemon Trainer aiming to become the region’s champion. The gameplay involves a journey in a fictional world filled with animals named Pokemon which the player interacts with, captures and trains to fight against each other for sport.
Starting the Game
A player begins the game by choosing a starter Pokemon. The starter Pokemon in Pokemon Sun Moon are Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. The starter chosen will serve as the player's main Pokemon in the initial stages of the game, and as the game progresses, the player can collect more Pokemon to add to their team.
Catching Pokemon
Pokemon are captured using a tool known as a Poke Ball. When the player encounters a wild Pokemon, they engage in battle with it. During this battle, the player can weaken the Pokemon to increase the chances of capturing it with a Poke Ball.
Battling with Pokemon
Every Pokemon has a variety of attacks or moves it can use in battles. Each move has a certain type, and some types are more effective against others. This brings a strategic element to the battles, forcing the player to consider their Pokemon's types and moves in relation to their opponent's.
Evolution of Pokemon
As the player's Pokemon gain experience from battles, they will level up and can potentially evolve into more powerful forms. This process not only changes the Pokemon's appearance, but also boosts its stats and potentially provides it with new moves.
Trainer Battles and Badges
In the world of Pokemon, there are also other trainers who the player can battle with to test their skills. Some of these trainers are Gym Leaders, respected figures who award the player with a badge upon defeat. Collecting all the badges in the game is necessary to challenge the Elite Four and the Champion, the ultimate test for a Pokemon Trainer.
The End Game
Once the player has conquered the Pokemon League Champion, the game does not end. There are many post-game activities and challenges waiting for the player. Completing these will further test the player's trainer abilities and provide them with even more powerful Pokemon and rare items.
