Pokemon Black Version 2 Gameplay
The gameplay of Pokemon Black Version 2 involves an immersive environment where players train, battle, and collect Pokemon. The main aim of the game is to become the strongest trainer in the Unova region. This is achieved by battling and defeating other trainers to gain experience and level up your Pokemon.
Player's Role in the Game
The player takes on the role of a Pokemon Trainer, whose objective is to catch and train creatures known as Pokemon to battle and become the Champion. Players begin with a starter Pokemon and travel through routes and cities to catch more Pokemon and challenge gym leaders.
Capture and Training
Players use a tool called a Poke Ball to capture Pokemon. The player can add to their team by catching wild Pokemon seen on their journey. Once caught, Pokemon are trained and leveled up through battles. Each kind of Pokemon has different abilities, and the type of ability determines its strengths and weaknesses during battles. When a Pokemon wins a battle, it gains experience points which make it stronger and help it to evolve into its advanced form.
The Battles
Players will engage in Pokemon battles as they progress through the game. These battles can be against wild Pokemon, other trainers or gym battles which give badges when won. The player must strategize through these battles, considering their Pokemon’s abilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
Gyms and Badges
In the Unova region, the player must travel and defeat the leaders of eight different gyms scattered throughout to get badges. Gaining these badges is a requirement to compete in the Pokemon League and have a shot at becoming the Champion. Each gym leader specializes in a specific type of Pokemon and will award the player a badge upon defeat.
The Pokemon League
After obtaining all the gym badges, the player qualifies to enter the Pokemon League. Inside, they must defeat the Elite Four and the current Champion. Victory means rising to the status of the region's new Champion.
Other Features
Beyond these primary objectives, Pokemon Black Version 2 also includes additional features such as Pokemon Contests, Beauty Pageants, and a post-game battle area known as the Battle Subway. There's also a feature to connect with other players for battles or trades.
